He’s smart. He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who solves crimes by day and commits crimes by night. In season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look a lot alike. Throughout the first season, Dexter is shown with a large scar on his left side. Later, in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side intact. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. Dexter is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite shows, and one of the few shows that I can watch in its entirety multiple times without getting bored. It’s hard to put into words how much I love this show. The only thing that’s not good is the ending. The ending was pretty bad, but it doesn’t detract from the quality of the show overall. This show is worth watching just for Michael C. Hall’s portrayal of Dexter. He’s brilliant at it. If you haven’t seen this incredible show yet, just give yourself plenty of time because you’ll want to watch it in one sitting as quickly as possible. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop.
